Each of your posts will be different. You should always follow the guidelines given by Miss Nelson on each assignment.
General Blogging Guidelines
Think About Your Digital Footprint
A digital footprint is a snapshot of everything you post online. Consider how you look to others viewing your post. Be sure what you’re putting out into the world is the snapshot of yourself you want to put forward. Spelling, grammar, and academic vocabulary help you create a credible footprint. Proofread and double check your work before you publish.
Be sure to THINK before you post.
DO NOT Share Personal Information
Keep your posts free of last names, phone numbers, email addresses, addresses, etc. Stick to your first name and last initial.
Know How to Give Constructive Feedback
Treat people the way you want to be treated. When posting opinions on readings, be sure there is nothing hurtful about it. Focus on the work and not the person. Help each other to grow in learning.
Writing Guidelines
Always, always, always check your work before you post it. Ask yourself: “Is the grammar and spelling correct?” “Does this make sense?” “Did I provide enough information?”
Make sure to stick to the topic. Do no include unnecessary chit-chat.
Comments should be 2-5 sentences, no less, but you can have more!
Add questions to your comments to encourage feedback and thoughts.
