5/5 *****
I liked everything about my book, except for the ending. Red Queen was a very good book with many plot twists that I never saw coming. I would name a few, but I wouldn’t want to spoil the book for others who would like to read it. It was one of the best books I’ve read in a while. I didn’t like the ending, because it ended on a huge cliff hanger and I was mad, because I really wanted to know what happened next. It was in the middle of another one of those huge plot twists then it just ended. I then, of course, was forced to read the second book, Glass Sword.
I give my book a rating of 4 stars. I didn’t like it when Josh and Jb dad died. I also didn’t like it when Jb was mad at josh.
I did like it when Josh made the game winning shot for the state championship. I also liked it when Jb made the game winning shot at the end of the game to get to the second round.
Why did you like these things about the boys and basketball?
I would rate my book a 4 our of 5 stars. I would rate Catalyst a 4 because the book is very detailed and suspenseful. This book did not receive a 5 star sate because the organisation of the book is very complicated. Something I admired about the book was all of the detail. The book was very descriptive and enlightening. Although I did not like the way the book was put together. The was separated by quarters of each chapter which only caused confusion but other than that I really enjoyed my book.
Good review, but work on your sentence structure.
For the book “Catalyst” I would give it a rating of 4 out of 5 stars. I would only give it 4 stars because some parts of the book were confusing and could have been better and further explained. I liked this book because it always had something happening and always kept me thinking about what is going to happen next. I also liked this book because it was not boring to read, and it was different than most other books. Overall I did enjoy reading this book but I only give it four stars instead of five because there could have been more detail and explaining on certain parts.
I agree with you on the book.
My book is Under a painted sky. I would give my book 3 stars. I like my book because it reminds me of the diaries we read in 3rd grade. I also like it because the way that people talk in the book interest me. I don’t like it because it can get really boring sometimes. Not much is going on and i forget what I read so I have to read it over again and waist my time.
What about the way the characters talk do you enjoy?
I give my book a four out of five stars. I gave this book a four out of five because it was over all a really good book. I liked the drama, and the suspense in the book like when John and Norton were fighting, or when Mr. Pignati had a stroke. I did not like how short the book was, it only had fifteen chapters and the chapters were not that long. I feel like there could have been a little more to the story, but it was a really good book and I am glad I read it.
Good!
If I had to rate my book I would give it three stars. I rated my book like this because it had good topics and overall it was a good book, but it didn’t have a good flow and it was hard to follow along. This book could have also had more description, I say this because it was hard to picture what was going on. Some parts of the book was hard to understand because they had some sentences that didn’t go with the topic and made you get lost and didn’t know what was going on. Lastly I liked what I could picture in my mind, even thought there was some funky sentences I liked what I read.
Good review.
I would rate my book a 4 star out of 5 because It was a very good book it took my interest in it but some times in the book it gets a little boring because they just have long boring conversations that makes no sense at all even when you understand the book
You need 5 full sentences and you only have 1.
My book, Gone, by Michael Grant would be given a 5 star rating from me. Gone was the best book I have ever read by a long shot. I would definitely read another book by the author based off of my first impression. My favorite parts in the book is when a twist comes in because no matter how many twists there are there is always more to come. I will admit that this book was pretty challenging but I did my best to read it all. The only parts I did not like were when a confusing random part came up and I did not know what that had to do with this part but there were a few chapters with confusing parts but it did not really matter. The most interesting parts were when they found out that Sam and little Pete had super powers and how that changed the whole story with one little line. This book was the only book I have ever read that I was exited to read the next page. This book was hard and time consuming but it was not to bad because I enjoyed it. If I could read books by this author for school it would not be so bad because I would be reading every day. I do not really love reading books but this book may have changed that feeling. If I could I would give this book a ten star rating but I can not so it is a perfect five from me.
Nice review! I am glad you liked it. There is the entire series in the book room that you can continue to read!
Okay I will check that out.
My book is Gone and I give it a 4 out of 5 stars. One thing I liked about the book was that it used descriptive words. For example, on page 398 the author described Quinn as fear and indecisive. One thing that I did not like about the book was it jumped from character to character in the middle of a chapter. I sometimes got confused on who was talking and what they were talking about. The author could fix this by making chapters for different characters.
Good review.
I rate this book a three star because it doesn’t explain things too precisely and it doesn’t have that much action. The thing that I like about this book is that the kids John, and Lorraine look up to this old guy called Mr. Pignati. Another thing that I like about this book is that the setting almost always takes place a Mr Pignati’s house and it is easier to understand where they are and what they are doing. The biggest thing that I dislike about this book is how it doesn’t explain that much about how the characters live and what their hobbies are. Another thing that is irritating about this book is that the author doesn’t explain how the characters look like.
Good reasons.
in my book The Red Queen i would rate this book a 4. I gave my book a rating of a 4 because it only really got good at the middle/end of the book around page 201 chapter 17 but i did love some of the thing i read in this book for instance when Cal helped Mare hide her identity or when people started to called Cal, Mares enemy, or when Cal and mare worked together and fought in the war against the silvers. When she found out she wasn’t the only half blood half silver blooded person she was shocked, that is what gave the book life the emotion. some parts i did not like is when when they yelled at pointed at Mare and said “KILL HER” several times or when mare had to leave her family and life behind because he was different. When Cal and Mares friends ship broke because he lied, it was not right but she was a little harsh in my opinion.
Good. Just work on your complete sentences and your sentence structure.
I rate this book 3 stars. The book is about survival and staying safe in the worst places. He is getting out of the woods but he is not that sure he wont’s to leave the woods. His mom and dad are happy to see him he tells them something they did not wont him to know but he asks them not to split a part.
Good. Careful with your spelling.
“The Crossover” by Kwame Alexander. The rate of 1 through 5 that i would give this book would be 5 because it’s an excellent book to read close to the end of the school year. The best part that i think is awesome to me is at the end of the book because Josh is shooting free throws. The reason why i choose this part of the book is because it is sad at the same time but if you read the rest of it Josh is actually happy because he is closer to his dad than being inside doing nothing except cry. When JB says that “You can’t make the 50th free throw,” Josh thinks that it is his dad who is speaking but it actually is JB. When JB starts to walk toward his girlfriend’s house Josh says JB’s name and he looks back and Josh passes him the ball and then JB goes and shoots a 3 pointer and makes it. The part of the book that i mostly don’t like is when Josh and JB are at their basketball game and Josh passes the ball to JB and JB doesn’t catch it, so he gets a bloody nose.Josh gets suspended from the basketball team just because of JB’s stupid joke of him to get in trouble.Josh went to the County Championship Game, but unlike every other game Josh’s dad was always there at every game but his dad was in the hospital because of a heart attack and a stroke. When Josh is in the game the only family member that is at the game is JB but he is not playing because of his dad. After the buzzer beater went off JB got a phone call and went into the locker room to tell Josh that dad has died from a major heart attack when he was in surgery.
Great
I am reading “The Pigman” and I would rate this book a 4 because this book is very interesting, it uses fluent words and a mix of long and short sentences. The author also uses very descriptive words and sentences that help me visualize what is happening in the book. The book also keeps me on edge by adding a lot of suspense. But there is a lot of sadness in the book which is why I only rated it a four, I hate sad books.
Can you explain some specific things you enjoyed about what happened in the book?
I would rate my book, “Under A Painted Sky” a 4/5. I would rate my book a 4/5 because it is a very good book, but has a few spelling errors, and harder to read points where slang is used. The slang is used for a southern accent, but was a little outrageous within the beginning and ending. The book was very fun, and adventurous. There was a lot of suspense in the beginning and middle of the book. Overall, it is a very good book.
What are some specific things you enjoyed about the book and the plot line?
My book is A painted sky. I would give this book a 3 1/2 because it was really confusing. It was confusing because Annemae and Sammy are girls and in the book the are known as boys after Sammy killed Mr. Yorkshire. Also in the book they call them selves ‘she ‘ which is really confusing because they are ‘boys’ so he don call them selves he or him
I would give my book Dog Tags a 5 out of 5. Dog Tags is a good book because there is many problems to solve, and involves war, and has a cool dog in it. Dash is always there for Andrew when he needs him and is very loyal to him. I would recommend this book to my friends and family. Examples from the book are when Dash would do anything for Andrew in the book and any command he says.
