I’m reading the book “The City Of Ember” I think that I am most like Lina Mayfleet because she is very “adventurous”. She likes to go and see different places around her town while delivering messages, which is why she wanted to be a messenger in the first place. Lina is also very curious about her town and things that are happening around her.
Nice reply!
I am like Lina because I am fast and i like to run, and like Lina if I lived in the city of ember i would probably want to be a messanger. But what is different about me is she is a girl and I am a boy, plus I am probably faster than her like if we where in a race she would be like a fish out of water and I would be like a cheetah.
Make sure you check your spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
My book is called ‘The Face on the Milk carton’ and i am like the main character, janie. I am like her because she is she might not be with her real parents and when i was 6 months old i was taken to a foster family. After 3 years in my foster family i was sent to live with my grandma.
Make sure to check your spelling and punctuation before you post.
In the book The Face on the Milk Carton I am similar to Janie because we both do good in school. Another reason we are similar is that we are teenagers. We are different because I am a boy and she is a girl. Another reason we are different is that she has her grandparents taking care of her while I have my real parents taking care of me.:))))
In the book the Wizard of Oz, I think I am most like the Scarecrow because I’m very clumsy. I usually trip over things like holes in sidewalks and such. I am not like him because I, believe it or not, actually have brains. I know it is hard to believe, but it’s true. Another thing I have in common with the scarecrow is manners, the Scarecrow and I are both very polite and say please and thank you.
Book:The City of Ember
I think I am mostly like Doon because he is serious. He is also curious about the city and how it functions. The only way I am not like him is that he gets mad easily.
You could give more examples about yourself to compare how you are like that.
I think I am more like the cowardly lion because I scare people a lot and I have moments were I am not so nice. But when I am not so nice and I hurt people i say I am sorry. Like when the lion scared the scarecrow.
Proof read before you submit and we do not start a sentence with BUT.
A character in book, The City of Ember, that I am most like is Lina, Something we have in common is we both like to run. Another thing we have in common is we’re both girls, and we’re both 12 (I’ll be 13 on December 3rd though.) Also both of our grandma’s died (Mine died 11 months ago.) Something we do not have in common is she likes to draw and from what I’ve heard it sounds like she’s pretty good at it too. I like to draw it’s just I’m really, really bad at it. Another thing we don’t have in common is both her parents died so she had to live with her grandma. While both of my parents are alive. Also she has a little sister, I don’t, and I have a big bother, she doesn’t.
Also she has brown hair, and I have blond hair.
In The Wizard of Oz I think I am most like Dorthy because I love to help and take care of people. I think that I am also a lot like Dorthy because we both see the good side of everybody and know that deep down inside they are very kind. Dorthy and I are also a like because we both love animals and are very gentle with them. I am different from Dorthy because she has a better way of getting a long with others when they do something that she does not really like. We are also different because she has VERY high self esteem because she is confident with what she does and what she says to people where as I am more a the shy timid type. So those are the reasons I think I am most like and most unlike Dorthy from The Wizard of Oz;)
Great reply!
In my book Football Hero I would say I am most comparable to Ty. I would say I am alike Ty because we are both in 7th grade, we both played/play football, and we were both a wide receiver. However we are not alike because his parental guardians did not want him playing football and mine were itching to see me out on the field.
I like the “itching” usage!
In “The Face on the milk carton” I am mostly like Reeve. Mainly because he is the ONLY main character that doesn’t have a child. Everyone else is either a girl or is like sixty years old.
You need to describe more with how you are alike.
I am most likely to be compared to Ty because we both played football and were both wide receivers and are in 7th grade. We both encountered deaths but I play basketball and Ty didn’t.
You need to describe more with how you are alike.
In my book Football Hero I am mostly like Thane we have many things in common. One thing we have in common is that we both do sports and we have younger brothers that do sports. Another thing we have in common is having to work hard to become an athelete. The last thing we have in common is having younger brothers that look up to us even though I did not think my brother looked up to me but he does.
Make sure to check punctuation.
